Thursday 5/7: LEGO Challenge #3- Build a Wind Car

Today we are returning to building a car. If the first LEGO Challenge we learned about renewable and nonrenewable energy. Today we are going to look a little closer at renewable energy.

Now that you’ve learned about renewable energy, let’s focus on wind power. You will be using wind to power the LEGO car you design and build. There are a lot of variables to think about: the size of the sail, the shape of the sail, the size & weight of your car, how & where you attach the sail to the car….. Grab your materials and get ready! Materials: LEGOS, construction paper, scissors, tape
