Science @ Roger Carter Community Center: School's Out Wow! How'd You do That? (grades K-5) Perform and be amazed by seemingly magical tricks – but it’s not magic,
it’s science! Learn the principles behind each experiment and deepen your understanding of science. Investigate inertia and Newton’s Laws of Motion. Do you think you can get the egg in the cup of water without touching it? Roll up your sleeves and create chemical reactions and see how different things interact with each other.
Cooking @ Gary J Arthur Community Center: Cook Around the World (grades K-5) No passport needed for this adventure! Learn about different countries and cultures as we make delectable, delicious treats! We’ll “travel” to Italy and make frittatas, to China to make egg rolls and to Russia to traditional Russian Apple Cakes. Your palette will love this “journey” of tastes!

Cooking @ Gary J Arthur Community Center: The Incredible, Edible Egg (grades K-5) When you think of eggs, you generally think of breakfast. While eggs do make a very yummy breakfast, eggs are an important part of many recipes. We’ll make both entrees and desserts with eggs! We’ll also learn all about eggs and even do some science experiments with eggs! Don’t miss out on this egg-cellent program!
Spring Break: Monday-Friday, April 11-April 15, 2022
Science @ Roger Carter Community Center: Mazes, Labyrinths and Coasters (grades K-5) Students will learn basic engineering and design concepts that can be used in everyday problem solving. Cooking @ Gary J Arthur Community Center: Galactic Kitchen (grades K-5) While others may be going to the beach or to visit family and friends this spring break, you can join us for an out-of-this-world culinary adventure! As we learn about stars, comets, planets, and more, we’ll be making, baking and cooking through the galaxy! We’ll make constellation cookies, edible moon rocks, rocket ship kabobs and more! We’ll also make plenty of galaxy-inspired crafts and even do a few science experiments! We’ll even build and launch model rockets!
