Let’s do an investigation to see how pollution can harm fish.
In this activity we will follow Freddie the Fish on a journey downstream. You will have your “own Freddie” and get to see first hand how the different pollutants affect Freddie. After the experiment, think about how you can help prevent water pollution. Materials: sponge, clear bowl/container, thread & needle, tape, scissors, handful of dirt, a few raisins, food coloring, syrup/honey, dish soap, salt, coffee grounds, small pieces of paper
