We are looking for the next Steven Spielberg! The special effects camp was our first camp we ever offered, which explored the science behind Hollywood's special effects. In our stop-motion and special effects camps, campers discover topics such as: stop-motion animation, model building, special effects make-up, and animated film creation.We also throw in a little chemistry, and the role it plays in all those great effects you see in the movies. Club SciKidz explores the history of special effects as well as current uses of claymation techniques. We start with some of the silent movies in the very beginning, and work our way to King Kong and Chicken Run!
