Monday 3/30: Pouring Water

March 30, 2020 by Club SciKidz MD

Doesn’t sound difficult, does it?

I bet you never thought “pouring water” could be a science experiment. But I promise you, it’s not going to be as easy as you think. Before you start, take a little time to refresh your memory about water, and maybe even learn something new 🙂

Sesame Street: The Water Song– Preschool-Kindergarten

Sesame Street: Elmo’s World: Water– Preschool-2nd grade

Properties of Water– Intermediate (3-5)

Time for the experiment…

Extension [Virtual] Field Trip

Now that you have learned all about water and have demonstrated cohesion (stinking to itself) and adhesion (sticking to other things) and how you can use those properties to do really cool science, lets take a virtual visit to a place that is full of water… the aquarium! Here you will witness water as a habitat and explore how it can sustain life.  Click here to go to the National Aquarium.
